Janeen and Ashton met at the RJ Rockers open mic night and started spending time together as friends and musical collaborators. Before too long their friendship grew into something more. Over the next couple of years they remained loyal open mic night attendees, played countless shows together, traveled, and created a home and a life together. In June of 2025, they were visiting Janeen’s brother, Phil (and future sister-in-law, Allison) in Portland and after a picnic in the park, they walked down to the lake which happened to be filled with floating lanterns where Ashton proposed and Janeen squealed an immediate yes. We are so excited to get married and celebrate with all of you. Thank you for being a part of this day and a meaningful part of our lives.
