Things To Do

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls, NY

If you haven't been, you need to see one of the wonders of the world. If you have a passport, I highly recommend visiting the Canadian side. They have many fun tourist traps and you can easily spend an entire day there. Whether you visit the US or Canadian side, you can sign up for a zip line or boat tour to see the most breath taking view!

Wander Down The Charming Streets

Washington Street, Ellicottville, NY 14731

There are a plethora of shops and restaurants to explore on the "main street" of Eville. Ellicottville Brewing Company has a beautiful outdoor patio to enjoy some delicious local beer and food! One of my favorite stores to explore is Gado-Gado.

Winery of Ellicottville

14 Monroe Street, Ellicottville, NY 14731

Ellicottville is also home to a fantastic winery! Established in 2010, The Winery of Ellicottville was opened by Dominic Spicola. He grew up watching his father create wine with techniques he brought with him from Italy. Dominic now continues the winemaking tradition with his son-in-law and today they are serving up award-winning bottles season after season. Tastings and tours are both offered and all of the wine is made and bottled right on the premise. Depending on the season and availability, there are usually 18 different varieties for guests to choose from, sample, or bring home with them. It’s definitely worth stopping in!

If the flowers throughout the town are not enough for you, Ellicottville is also home to Nannen Arboretum. Nannen Arboretum is run by a nonprofit organization and is completely free to the public. Sitting on eight-acres, this stunning botanical garden contains over 250 species of trees, shrubs, flowers, and herbs. There are nice pathways, which you can stroll down and observe your surroundings. You’ll also find a beautiful lake and a Japanese garden. Nannen Arboretum is a quick 5-minute drive from the main town area or a 15-minute walk.
