We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Will and Jane met in a lifeguard training course at Camp Hawkeye in 2019, just before the beginning of their first summer as counselors at Camp Kabeyun. They describe the start of their relationship as love at first sight, with no official "first date", but rather countless hang outs by the lake, late night campfires, and any other excuse they could make to spend time together. Before long, they were inseparable, sharing as many days off as they could and spending their free time enjoying the beautiful New England summer. Eventually camp came to an end, and Jane began her college career at Keene State college while Will returned to the University of Colorado to finish his degree. Although camp was over, neither could imagine saying goodbye. Through daily phone calls, handwritten letters, and frequent visits, they stayed closely connected despite the distance, navigating college life, a global pandemic, and spending thousands of miles apart. In the summer of 2021, they reunited at Camp Kabeyun and picked up right where they left off. Ten weeks of hiking, arts and crafts, and evenings by the lake reminded them why camp would always feel like home. When the summer ended, Will joined the Coast Guard and moved to Portland, Maine. With Jane attending the University of New Hampshire just an hour away, weekends together quickly became a cherished routine. In 2023, Will moved to the Oregon coast to be closer to his family. Upon finishing her undergraduate degree that winter, Jane struck out west to move in with Will, finally bringing their 4 years of long distance to a close. In their first apartment together, they shared a year and a half among mountains, beaches, tidepools, and new friends until moving to Seattle in 2025. While Will and Jane eloped in Cannon Beach, Oregon shortly before this latest move, this was in anticipation of a larger ceremony to bring their families and friends together at the place where their love began. We can't wait to share this celebration with you in a place that holds so much meaning, surrounded by the people who have supported us from coast to coast along the way.
