Popular Indian outfit choicesfor females include: - Sharara/gharara: consists of flared pants (sharara), tunic style top (Kurti), and a long scarf that drapes over shoulder or head (dupatta) - Gharara is basically the same thing as above, however the pants start flaring from the knee downwards - Salwar kameez/punjabi suits: consists of long tunic (kameez), and trousers (salwar).
