We met in college at Georgia Tech. She was a biochemistry major determined to pursue dental school. He was a biochemistry major without a plan. Our identical degree program meant many shared classes which lead to study groups and study groups evolved into lunch dates. Eventually we were inseparable, that is, until graduation. He went away to graduate school in New York, she to dental school in Michigan. Even the distance wasn’t enough.

It was a normal Friday night in Detroit; dental school graduation was upcoming, and it was time to celebrate. He arranged for her and her two best friends to go out that night for a photoshoot. They insisted on picking her up and walking her to an ‘exclusive rooftop with a view’ at sunset. They took an elevator to the top, turned the corner, and he was there waiting. Surprised, she walked over, he bent the knee, and in a teary mess, she cried, “Yes!” We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Atlanta!
