Travel Note
Beaver Creek, Colorado is a 2 hour drive from Denver International Airport. There are several ways to get to Beaver Creek, but our recommendation is to rent a car and take the scenic drive up Interstate 70 to the town of Avon. The Eagle County Regional Airport is approximately 30 minutes from Beaver Creek and is a smaller regional airport. Rent a car, take an airport shuttle, or Ride Taxi (Uber for the mountains) into town if long drives aren't your thing! **Travel Tip: Please keep in mind when you are driving back to the Denver airport on Sunday, that there may be traffic in the afternoon from the weekend visitors heading down the mountain.

If you would like to stay in a condo/house with a larger group or family, there are many great options on AirBnb/VRBO - we ask that you please stay in the Beaver Creek Village so all events are within walking distance! If looking for lower rates, there are options in Avon or Edwards (2-5 miles down the road). However, if you choose to stay outside of the Beaver Creek Resort gates, you are responsible for your own transportation to and from your accommodation & our wedding events!

Travel Note
Beaver Creek is located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado at 8,080 feet above sea level. Denver is 5,280 feet (1 mile high) above sea level. Altitude can be an issue! Here is some information and advice on having a wonderful wedding weekend with us. Things to Remember When Visiting High Altitude: 1. DRINK WATER! - Before your trip to Denver and Beaver Creek and while you are here, drinking plenty of water is the number one way to help your body adjust easily to our higher altitude. 2. Monitor Your Alcohol Intake - In Colorado's rarified air, golf balls go ten percent farther… and so do cocktails. Alcoholic drinks pack more of a wallop than at sea level. It is recommended that you go easy on the alcohol in the mountains and in Denver, as its effects will feel stronger here. 3. Watch Your Physical Activity - The effects of exercise are more intense here. If you normally run 10 miles a day at home, you might try 6 miles in Denver. 4. Pack for Sun - The high altitude also means you are that much closer to the sun. There's 25 percent less protection from the sun, so sunscreen is a must. Colorado receives over 300 days of sunshine each year (hopefully our wedding day is one of them). Bring sunglasses, sunscreen & lip balm.
