Question

What is the name of the Venue Site?

Answer

The Wedding Ceremony AND Reception are at the same venue so no need for travel!! The Venue is The Stables at Strawberry Creek. Address is 733 Mccubbins Rd, Knoxville, TN 37924.

Where can I RSVP?

Answer

Right here on our website! Go under our RSVP section and you will be able to enter in your information and whether or not you will be in attendance.

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

Sure! Please make sure to list them under the RSVP section so that we have enough seating, food and drink to accommodate everyone.

Can I bring kids to the wedding?

Answer

Of Course!! There will be plenty of kids there ranging of all ages. There will be yard games and things for the kids to do during cocktail hour and of course dancing later on in the evening. There will be some small coloring pages and other activities as well as a photobooth for anyone to enjoy.

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

Ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Social Hour will begin once ceremony concludes while the bride and groom take pictures with their families. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm with dancing and the reception to follow! A sparkler send off will begin at 9:45pm and the wedding will conclude by 10pm.

What do I wear; is there anything I cannot wear?

Answer

Casual wedding attire. Please stay away from white, black, or emerald green. Ceremony will be in a grass field, think carefully when selecting shoes! There will be a walk up a short hill from ceremony site to reception in the barn.

Do I need to bring money with me?

Answer

There will be an open bar for drinks and refreshments. Bring cash if you would like to tip the bartender for all their hard work during our event! There will be a gift table and a honeymoon fund box available for anyone who brings gifts with them!

Where are you both registered at for gifts?

Answer

We registered through Zola! If you go to our Registry tab, it will take you to our site to see what we have added, what has already been purchased, and what has not. If you do not want to buy a gift and would rather give money, you can do so in the Honeymoon box at the wedding or Gift Cards are always welcome!

Where can we stay?

Answer

All hotels are listed under the Travel section of this website! Check there for a list of hotels near by the Venue for places to stay!

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel or venue?

Answer

No. We did not set up any shuttle service to and from the venue or hotels due to people staying in multiple locations. Please check with your hotel to see if there are available shuttle services!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Weather is always a little unpredictable but for late September, it will be warmer, humid, and beautiful throughout the night! If it rains, everything will be in the barn so no one will have to get wet!

Where do we park?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking behind the barn at the Venue. Parking guides will be there to direct you where to go along with signs throughout the Venue.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests can start arriving around 4:15pm. You will park behind the barn, stop inside to meet the bartender and grab yourself a refreshment if you would like one, then head on down to the ceremony site and find yourself a seat.

Can I take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking for an unplugged ceremony. Our photographer will get all the pictures we need during the ceremony and we want our guests to enjoy the moment with us! That way phones or cameras of others are not everywhere in our photos nor are they in the way of you all for photos and videos!

Can I take pictures during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

ABSOLUTELY! There will be a photobooth for anyone to use and take as many photos as you like! There will be a "Photo Scavenger Hunt" list on the reception tables which will have a list of photos we are asking you find and take for us! There will be a QR Code on the table as well for you to upload your photos too and will be shared with us! Here is the website that the photos will be uploaded to. What can we do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party and families will be getting pictures taken. Guests will be welcome to walk around the property, enjoy small appetizers, refreshments, use the photobooth, sign our guest book, find a table and pick a seat for dinner, play some yard games, and let the littles color a picture or dance around the dance floor. There will also be a "Photo Scavenger Hunt" posted on each table that will have a list of pictures we want you to see if you can capture and upload to our website! The QR codes will be on the table for you to upload the photos too!

What time will the reception end?

Answer

The reception is scheduled to end around 10pm. We will be doing a sparkler send off at 9:45pm which everyone is welcome to join! All guests must be off the property by no later than 10:30pm.
