Woosterfest

One of our favorite events of the year!!! Enjoy traditional German food vendors and try a good old fashioned fried bologna sandwich or schnitzel! Wash it all down in the beer garden with an Oktoberfest beer or something from one of our local breweries! Check the website for all the events which include beer stein races, live music performances and my favorite, the weiner dog races!!!

Put-in-Bay

Our absolute favorite place to visit! Take the Miller Ferry or Jet Express over Lake Erie to South Bass Island and the village of Put-in-Bay. Great for renting bicycles or take a load off with a golf cart to explore this beautiful place. Eat lunch at any of the many downtown eateries, often with live music coming from open faced buildings like the Boathouse. Take a swing from rope hung "bar stools" and sip mojitos while digging your toes in the sand floor at Mojito Bay. Play putt-putt golf at Perry's Cave then stroll across the street to taste wine at Heineman Winery and Crystal Cave. Don't forget to visit Perry's Monument and go all the way to the top, 317 feet! If you're an early riser, charter a boat and do some amazing fishing either from the island or the mainland.

The Pine Tree Barn

Visit this beautiful barn and Christmas tree farm for a delicious brunch or just to shop. Several stories and endless rooms of assorted gifts and décor including dozens of themed Christmas trees with ornaments for sale!

Heini's Cheese Chalet

My Grandma always took me here when I was a kid! Loved tasting all the unique cheeses, including green moon cheese!
