Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs will open around July–August 2026. Formal invitations with a QR code linking to the RSVP site will be sent during that time.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 2:30 PM on Friday, October 23, 2026 (no later than 2:45 PM). The ceremony begins at 3:00 PM, and we want everyone seated and comfortable before our grand entrance.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire: Cocktail Our ceremony will be held outdoors in the back fields of the venue, about a 5-minute walk from the parking area. The reception will follow in the barn, where space heaters and fans will be available. Please dress accordingly for Michigan’s unpredictable fall weather. Ladies: Cocktail dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or dressy skirts and tops with heels or chic flats. Gentlemen: Suits or dress pants with a blazer, dress shirt, and polished shoes. Ties are optional.

Are plus ones, dates, or children invited?

While we would love to celebrate with everyone, due to space limitations we are only able to accommodate the guests named on the save-the-date and formal invitation. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating together.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved two hotel blocks nearby. Please visit the Travel tab on our wedding website for details. To receive the discounted rate, copy and paste the URL listed under Discounted Code exactly as shown. Additional details include distances to the airport and venue. You’re also welcome to book other accommodations if these options don’t fit your needs or budget.

Is there parking or transportation for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Free parking is available at Hydrangea Blu Barn. Please follow the on-site signs for parking. As we have a small guest list, guests are kindly asked to arrange their own transportation to and from the venue.
