Airports

LAX is the major airport in the Los Angeles area. Solvang is approximately 2-3 hours drive from the airport. The Santa Barbara airport is about a 45 minute drive to Solvang. It is a smaller airport and has limited flights in and out each day.

House Or Rental

There are a number of rental and hotel options in Solvang itself, or in the surrounding towns of Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, or Buellton. We suggest using Airbnb or VRBO if you are inclined to rent a house/apartment for the weekend.

Santa Ynez Valley Marriott

The Marriott is a 10 minute drive from Solvang, Los Olivos, and Santa Ynez. There is no minimum night stay and rooms start at $209 a night. Please note that the last day to book is 6/4/19, but we recommend booking earlier as it is an holiday weekend.

You must call the hotel directly to reserve your room. Please let them know you are guests of the Simon-Meyer/Steinhart wedding to receive discounted rates. This hotel is a 2 night minimum and room prices vary by night and start at $225 a night. Please call for additional pricing information and book early, as it is a holiday weekend.
