Wineries

There are a number of tasting rooms and wineries only a 10 minute drive from Solvang in Los Olives.

Solvang Brewing Company

Santa Barbara

A 40 minutes drive from Solvang, Santa Barbara has tons of activities. Spend some time at the beach, biking through town, visiting the zoo, or strolling through downtown.

The Doggy Door

Take a break from sipping on wine and visit this awesome hot dog cart. In full disclosure, this was our lunch when we went to check out our wedding venue. It didn't disappoint.

Grass Mountain Trail head- Lovers Loop Hike

Biking

There are great roads for cycling and the Solvang website offers four potential loops. We did the 2nd option (Solvang to Ballard Canyon Loop) and would say that you will hit some pretty serious hills in the Canyon (some of us had to walk up the hills), but the rest of the ride is mild.

This spot offers live music, darts, outdoor seating, and tons of great beers to sample.
