FAQs

Common Questions
Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by March 20, 2026. This helps us provide our vendors with an accurate guest count and ensures everything is ready for your arrival. The sooner you RSVP, the better it gives us extra peace of mind as we plan!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, and to respect our guest limit, only those formally listed on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, it will be indicated when you RSVP.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate, we are only including the children of select family members. Invited children will be listed by name on the invitation or during the RSVP process. Thank you for understanding, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

Your presence will truly be missed. If you are unable to attend, we kindly ask that you RSVP "No" as soon as possible. If you have already RSVP'd "Yes" but later find you cannot make it, please notify Janay or Terrence at your earliest convenience.

Question

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

Our wedding will take place at Pearl & Cade, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

First, thank you so much for traveling to celebrate with us! We’ve shared a list of recommendations under the Travel tab, with links for each location. While you’re not required to stay at any of these spots, we hope the list helps make your search a little easier!

Question

When should I plan to arrive for the wedding weekend?

Answer

While we’re still finalizing a few details, we recommend planning to arrive on Friday, May 1, 2026, if you’d like to join us for a casual evening meet up. Our main celebration will take place on Sunday, May 3, 2026. Arriving on Saturday is also perfectly fine if that works better for your schedule. Either way, you’ll have plenty of time to settle in and enjoy the weekend. Additional event details will be shared closer to the wedding.

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones are put away during the ceremony portion of our wedding. We have hired an amazing photographer and she will be there to capture the ceremony! Feel free to take as many photos/videos during the reception and throughout the reminder of the night!

Question

What if I didn't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by March 20, 2026, it will automatically be marked as "No". While we will miss celebrating with you, it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within our agreed upon timeline. Thank you for understanding!
