Handfasting Ceremony

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

The field where the ceremony will take place is open to the elements. Please be prepared to wear an extra layer of clothing if necessary.

We suggest you park at the football club, or on the approach road to it, no later than 4.45pm. This will give you time to follow the signs to walk to the meeting point. (* More info below) We will then continue up the path to the Handfasting field together, where there will be a celebratory toast of Mead (for making it up the lane!!) before the Handfasting gets under way. The ceremony is particularly meaningful to both of us because by its very nature, it lends itself to being more personalised than the standard civil part of our wedding at the registry office! It is therefore with great excitement that we hope you will both witness and participate in this ancient tradition of 'tying the knot'. * Using map below, look for road passing between 6 Trungle Terr & 3 Trungle Parc.
