Where should I stay?

Answer

We have secured hotel blocks at Casa Antonieta, and Casa Arrona for our wedding guests. To get the most out of this experience, we recommend staying at one of these hotels. As rooms are limited, please let us know your room preference as soon as possible. But don't worry, we have listed a few overflow options under 'Travel', or book your own adventure.

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be on the rooftop terrace, while the dinner will take place in the courtyard with open air and covered areas, where also the party will take place later. As the evening continues we'll move the after party to somewhere indoors (location still TBA).

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Early October in Oaxaca features mild, pleasant weather with temperatures typically ranging from 15 to 27. Pack layers, as mornings are pleasant, days are warm, and evenings can be cooler and breezy. While it marks the end of the rainy season, the landscape is lush and green from the previous months, and occasional showers or drizzle in the later afternoon/ evening are rare but still possible.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Casual wear. From flowy dresses, jumpsuits, suits, nice separates over loose pants and a nice shirt – anything goes. We just want you to be comfortable, but dress to impress and take inspiration from the surroundings. We’ll be on stone terraces and streets for part of the day (!) , so bring comfortable shoes that you can walk and dance in. The venue has both indoor and outdoor areas, so layers are recommended for when the sun goes down.

What's the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

Casa Antonieta is in the heart of Oaxacas City Center, where everything is within walking distance. However, you should expect busy streets and cobble stones. If you are not good by foot, we'd recommend ordering a taxi.

We love your kids, but this will be an adults-only celebration.

We do not have a gift registry. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for.
