Is there anything more beautiful than when two genuinely wonderful people find each other? Two years ago, Jan asked the universe for her perfect man, and she was specific. In a perfect world, he would be a trustworthy family man with a great sense of humor; an animal lover with "hug appeal." And it wouldn't hurt if he were tall and handsome as well. The universe listened and boy did it deliver. Jan was at the end of her rope when it came to the online dating world. She was ready to throw in the towel when her brother-in-law, Steve, convinced her to give it one more go on a different website. He wrote her profile, Jan answered all of the questions, and they pressed send. Meanwhile, George had decided to give the online dating world a try. Jan and George had each only been on the website for a week when they were matched - at 100%! They decided to meet for breakfast, and by the end of the date, they were house hunting. Incredible, but true. George was in the midst of moving, and his realtor told him the day before about a house that he wanted him to see early in the day. George was looking forward to his breakfast date and did not want to cut it short, so Jan offered to go with him. The rest, as they say, is history. They didn't choose the house that they saw that day, but just a few short months later, they found their perfect house together. As they spent more time together, Jan learned many wonderful things about George: he is a dedicated father and grandfather, a dog lover, a fireman (now retired), and a talented contractor. He takes his dog to nursing homes and is always there with a helping hand for his friends and family. And, in turn, George learned things about Jan as well: the importance of her family in her life, her selfless attitude towards friends and family, her giving nature, and her dry sense of humor.
