Here are our favorite ways to enjoy summertime Chicago!
Chicago River Architecture Tour
A Chicago favorite! Enjoy a 45 to 90 minute (hilariously) guided tour of Chicago's historic architecture from the best seat in the house, the waterfront!
Lou Malnati's Pizzeria
Our favorite deep dish pizza in all of Chicago. Can't beat that buttery crust....mmm. We recommend the classic cheese!
The J. Parker
Our favorite rooftop bar in the entire city, with spectacular panoramic views of the lake, Lincoln Park, and the skyline. Conveniently perched atop the Hotel Lincoln, which is just a quick 5 minute walk from our wedding venue!
Lakefront Trail
Hop on a Divvy bike or enjoy a leisurely stroll down Chicago's famed Lakefront trail. A true gem of this city, this path offers miles of unbeatable views of both the blue waters and skyline
Beermiscuous
With their unbeatable craft beer selection, cozy ambiance, and whimsical stack of board games to enjoy, this is Matt's favorite spot to relax and enjoy a nice ~hazy boy~
Three Dots and a Dash
This tiki-themed speakeasy is our go-to spot for entertaining out of town guests. We don't want to admit how much money we have spent here over the years...
Art Institute of Chicago
Founded in 1879, the Art Institute houses the largest collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art outside the Louvre. It is home to more than 300,000 pieces of art, including Jana and Ferris Bueller's favorite - "A Sunday on La Grande Jatte—1884"
Millenium Park
Located in the heart of downtown Chicago, Millenium Park is home to the iconic Cloud Gate statue (aka “The Bean”), interactive fountains, tranquil gardens, and plenty of green space
