Are you requiring that all guests be vaccinated against COVID-19?

Answer

Yes! We are requiring that all guests be *fully* vaccinated against COVID-19. Per current CDC guidelines, this includes a booster dose for everyone 12+ at least 5 months after completing the primary series. While adults age 50 and older are now eligible for a second booster, we are not requiring this for attendance. *Please submit proof of vaccination to janashapiro@gmail.com by June 1, 2022*

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be held indoors. The cocktail hour will take place outdoors under a roofed loggia. The reception will be held indoors, with easy access to the loggia throughout the evening.

What are the current mask/vaccine requirements in Chicago?

Answer

As of February 28, 2022, the City of Chicago has removed the mask and vaccine requirements for certain public spaces. Individual businesses or settings may enact their own mask or vaccination requirements. Travel advisories are updated every Friday based on new CDC metrics to assess communities' COVID-19 risk. Currently, Chicago falls under "high" risk. CDPH continues to strongly urge masking in all public indoor spaces in Chicago—including on public transit—with the rising number of cases.
