Watkins Glen State Park
Our picnic on Saturday will be at the park campsite. There will be plenty of time to hike the gorge trail! Jana compares the trail to the beauty and wonder she experienced while visiting the Grand Canyon!
Taughannock Falls State Park
John's favorite waterfall in the area with an easy 1 mile hike along the river basin to see the falls or a drive by overlook for cars.
Buttermilk Falls State Park
If your road leads you through Ithaca, definitely one of two waterfalls worth driving by. Trails to hike but easy access to main fall from the parking lot.
Ithaca Falls
Jana's favorite waterfall located just off Cornell's campus, John would regularly go swimming here in the summer.
