Cocktail attire is requested. For women, this may include knee-length or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elevated separates (no need for floor-length gowns, but not casual attire). For men, a suit or dark sport coat with dress pants is perfect.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. Please be seated by 5:20 p.m. The ceremony will be followed by cocktail hour, then dinner and dancing. The entrance to the Galveston Railroad Museum is located at 2602 Santa Fe Place, Galveston, Texas. Free parking is available in that lot. When you arrive, instead of going in the door marked "Entrance," please go to the left of that building. The gate will be open with someone to direct you to the ceremony location. If you are arriving at the front of the Shearn Moody Plaza (where The Strand meets Rosenberg Street/25th Street), please take the sidewalk south along Rosenberg Street (also 25th Street) to the corner at Santa Fe Place. Turn right to walk along Santa Fe Place to the entrance to the Galveston Railroad Museum. Instead of going in the door marked "Entrance," please go to the left of that building. The gate will be open with someone to direct you to the ceremony location.
