Question

COVID-19 Restrictions?

Answer

As of May 13th, the Governor has updated WA wedding and event guidelines in accordance with CDC recommendations. Fully vaccinated weddings and events are not subject to any of the COVID-19 requirements regarding distance between individuals or groups, standing, mingling, dancing and/or food and beverage service.

Question

Are Masks Required?

Answer

Masks will be optional, as we will only be inviting fully-vaccinated guests. We do not want anyone to compromise their level of comfort!

Question

Fully Vaccinated?

Answer

In general, people are considered fully vaccinated: 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine

Question

Do I need to bring proof of vaccination?

Answer

YES. Per state guidelines, all attendees must provide proof of vaccination. The following are acceptable as proof of full vaccination: Vaccination card (which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date last dose administered) OR a photo of a vaccination card as a separate document OR a photo of the attendee’s vaccine card stored on a phone or electronic device OR documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider electronic health record or state Immunization Information System record. Self-reported vaccination records that are not verified by a health care provider cannot be accepted.

Question

How many guests will there be?

Answer

We are inviting 50 fully-vaccinated guests maximum to the reception (less than 1/3 of the max capacity of the venue).

Question

What is the venue like?

Answer

Cathedral in Ballard is a 4,000sqft bar-like, indoor space with two floors that has a maximum capacity of 170. It has gorgeous finishes, exposed brick, and marble bar-tops. Oh, and they donate 100% of profit to charity! https://seattlecathedral.com/gallery/

Question

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

Friday night in Ballard means that street parking may be challenging. If driving around the block and looking for parking doesn’t sound fun, we recommend ride-share or parking in one of the close by paid lots. The closest paid lots to the venue are at 5444 Ballard Ave NW and 2221 NW 56th Street.

Question

Will food be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be pizzas (vegan ones too!) and salad from Pagliacci, as well as desserts from Hood Famous.

Question

Drinks?

Answer

Yes! There will be wine, beer, and a couple of cocktails to choose from at no cost to you. Bring cash to tip our bartender! & as always, please drink responsibly!

Question

Other notes

Answer

Our DJ asks that our guests maintain 8ft social distance from him and his station to minimize close interactions. Please respect his request and help us prioritize the overall safety and comfort of everyone involved (including our other vendors)! The pandemic is not quite over yet, and it is not lost upon us that we are fortunately privileged to have this opportunity to celebrate with a group of fully-vaccinated individuals.
