Question

How do I join virtually?

Answer

Join this link at 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time. https://loveca.st/SalaamDunk

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1. You can do so here on the site by clicking "RSVP by August 1" on the menu above.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible by RSVPing “no,” so we can plan accordingly. We will be streaming the ceremony portion virtually for those who cannot attend. A link to the virtual streaming platform will be emailed/texted the week of the wedding.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved blocks at two hotels. You can click "Accommodations" on the menu above for more details.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are being hosted in a residential backyard on grass, so keep it cute (think cocktail or dressy casual) but keep it comfy. Because we will be on grass, the best shoes to wear would be flats, wedges or block heels. Barefoot ain't bad either!

Question

What will the weather be this time of year?

Answer

Temperatures in Inglewood, CA, during the month of September average around 76 F for the high and 64 F for the low. This wedding is hosted outdoors, so please be sure to check the weather as the date gets closer. And feel free to join us in praying for no rain!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can begin arriving at 5:00 p.m. (It's OK if you're a bit earlier than that.) The ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

This is on a residential street with lots of free parking.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are keeping our list intimate, so guests are limited to those listed on your invitation.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo/video with our wedding hashtag #SalaamDunk so we can keep track of all of your lovely pictures, whether they are of us or yourself at the wedding!

Question

Are there any restrictions related to COVID-19?

Answer

As of June 15, California has reopened with a few restrictions in place for mega-events. And even though this is BIG DEAL for us, it's nowhere near mega! We are estimating that there will be about 60 people in attendance at our wedding. If you have any concerns about attending our wedding, we completely understand and encourage you to make the wisest decision for you at this time. And again, if you cannot attend, we hope you will join us virtually!
