In December of 2023, after (roughly) a thousand cringe-worthy Hinge dates, Jamie's phone illuminated with a new message from a sensible-looking bearded man named Ryan. Seeing her in a hockey jersey gave him all the confidence he needed to send the first message. In stark contrast to her experience, Ryan had only downloaded Hinge the night before, and the message to Jamie was his first and only... Ryan's quick wit and seemingly effortless charm formed an instant connection. Jamie, a 911 Dispatcher piqued his interest even more as he had been interested in that career for months. Because of their incredible connection, things moved at rom-com speed and they soon found themselves sharing Jamie's quaint apartment with their two freeloading furry roommates, Boomer and Zazu. Soon after, Ryan joined Jamie on the overnight shift dispatching for Saco Police and they were spending more time together than any married couple would recommend - but against all odds, they fell in love even more. In October of 2025, they took a trip to the city that they both know and love, and Ryan proposed overlooking Pittsburgh under the stars. She - of course - said "yes" and they are ecstatic to be planning a beautiful wedding and an even more beautiful life together.
