Things To Do

Tenuta di Valgiano

7 Via Valgiano, Capannori, Toscana 55012, Italy

Winery less than a mile from the villa. They also produce olive oil and honey on-site. Great souvenirs to remember the trip!

Lucca city center

Piazza S. Frediano, 4, Lucca, 55100, Italy

Lucca City Center is a magical place in Tuscany. It's a medieval-walled city that doesn't allow cars, so it's especially enjoyable to walk the narrow streets. We highly recommend Caffè Biscotteria Santa Zita for an afternoon espresso or cocktail. They provide an incredible spread of finger food for free! It's also nice to walk or rent a bike and ride on the medieval walls.

Guinigi Tower

29 Via Guinigi, Lucca, Toscana 55100, Italy

Go to the top to see a view of Lucca

Osteria da Pasqualino Gubitosa

8 Via del Moro, Lucca, Toscana 55100, Italy

Located on the Via del Moro in the heart of the old town, this unassuming establishment benefits from fantastic hosts and high-quality dishes. The restaurant specializes in seafood but also offers some wonderful Italian dishes such as ravioli and other pastas.

Buca di Sant'Antonio

3 Via della Cervia, Lucca, Toscana 55100, Italy

The oldest and most famous restaurant in Lucca. Great selection of roasted meats. Located right in the center of town, near San Michele.

Gelateria Veneta

74 Via Vittorio Veneto, Lucca, Toscana 55100, Italy

Best gelato ever.

Pizzeria Sbragia

144 Via Fillungo, Lucca, Toscana 55100, Italy

Incredible family-owned, wood fired pizza.
