Question

What's the schedule for Saturday evening?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with you at Gage & Tollner in Brooklyn! Here’s how the evening will unfold: 4 PM - An intimate ceremony and dinner for family and a few out-of-town guests. 8 PM - After dinner, our New York friends will join us for dancing, drinks, dessert, and late night bites to continue the celebration together. 11:30 PM - We'll move to the after party at Someday Bar Brooklyn to keep the night going with more drinks, dancing, and snacks. (Someday Bar is right across the street from the Ace Hotel where we have our room block). We feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by people we love. Whether you're joining us early or arriving for the dance floor, your presence means the world to us!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please! Think fun, festive, and fancy. Suits and ties for men. Most importantly, come ready to dance and celebrate! There will be a coat check available when you arrive upstairs.

Question

Do you have hotel recommendations?

Answer

We've reserved a room block at the Ace Hotel Brooklyn. Please check out the "Travel + Accommodations" page of our website here for all the information. You can also see the "Recommendations" page for a coffee shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance of the Ace Hotel.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the Ace Hotel to the reception?

Answer

The Ace Hotel Brooklyn is less than a 10 minute walk to Gage & Tollner — so guests staying at the Ace can all walk over together! There will be a coat check when you arrive at the reception.

Question

A note on accessibility

Answer

Please note that our reception will take place in an upstairs private dining space that is only accessible by a steep staircase. Unfortunately, there is no elevator or ramp access.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

We recommend taking the subway or an Uber as it can be difficult to find street parking in Downtown Brooklyn. If you prefer to drive, you can try the lot at 92 Livingston St., between Boerum Pl. & Court St. It is a 5 minute walk to the restaurant. We also have had good experiences with the app SpotHero for on-demand parking lot access in the city.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We're looove your kids, but we’re planning an adults-only evening so everyone can relax and celebrate. If you need help arranging childcare, feel free to reach out to either one of us — we’re happy to help connect you with a sitter! A small exception: our nieces and nephews will be there as part of the "wedding party."

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please give either of us a call or shoot over a text and we'll make sure you are accommodated.
