Our story began on a summer day in San Francisco at the Marina's finest, The Lot. Jordan was in the city visiting for a wedding that weekend (shout out to the Franceschi's!), and Jamie was attending a birthday party. We bumped into each other and immediately hit it off. We ended up spending that entire day together, we even introduced two friends who are now engaged (shout out to the future Nixon's!). It was meant to be, except for one large problem - the distance! Neither of us were ready to commit to that becoming our relationship for the foreseeable future. Fast forward to Thanksgiving weekend, when Jamie crashed the 2008 Granite Bay High School reunion. Unsurprisingly, we picked up right where we had left off and instantly became inseparable. That was the turning point, we both knew, it was time to give this thing a real shot. 9 very long months and ALOT of frequent flier miles later, Jamie made the move up to Portland to be with Jordan. Despite the craziness of 2020 there was a silver lining, an opportunity to spend every second together trapped in the covid quarantine and work from home life was exactly what our love story needed to grow into an engagement. Jordan kept a secret for the first time in his life, and popped the question on July 10, 2020 in Glenbrook surrounded by family, and of course our little Dottie P. We are the most excited to start this new chapter of life together, and we cannot wait to see what this crazy thing called life has in store for us!
