Tunnel View
Easily one of the most iconic views in the U.S. From this spot, you can see Yosemite Valley in all its glory. El Capitan, Half Dome, and Bridalveil Fall perfectly framed in one jaw-dropping panorama. Just stay on Highway 41 all the way into the park; you’ll reach the Tunnel View overlook right after driving through the tunnel. Pull over, soak it in, and prepare to have your breath stolen.
Glacier Point
Take in one of the most breathtaking views in Yosemite; Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and the entire valley stretched out below you. From Oakhurst, follow Highway 41 into the park, then turn onto Glacier Point Road (usually open late spring through fall) and drive about an hour to the top. Bring a jacket! It’s higher up and can get chilly!
El Capitan Meadow
Enjoy a valley floor view of North America’s tallest monolith. Just take Highway 41 into the park and follow the Valley Loop until you see the signs for El Capitan Meadow. Park along the road and look up! You’ll probably spot climbers inching their way up the granite face.
