FAQs

Question

What are we eating and drinking?

Answer

Think family party, not black-tie wedding! We’ll have plenty of delicious charcuterie to graze on, a casual dinner, and dessert to follow. There will be champagne, beer, wine, and of course, non-alcoholic options, too! If you have a favorite drink or something specific you can’t celebrate without, there are grocery stores just 5 minutes away. Feel free to bring along whatever makes you happiest!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We’re keeping things simple and doing a honeymoon fund instead of a traditional registry. Your presence truly is the best gift you could give us, but if you’d like to contribute to our next adventure as newlyweds, you’ll find all the details linked on our site.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Around 3:30 pm. Ceremony starts at 4!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Think comfortable, nature-friendly, and festive! The ceremony and reception will take place in a backyard surrounded by trees (and possibly a few curious squirrels), so we recommend dressy-casual attire. Flowy dresses, skirts, or nice shirts and slacks. Heels aren’t required (or practical), so bring shoes you can wander in! We’ll be spending the following day exploring Yosemite (if you're up for it!), so pack your outdoorsy clothes, layers, and sturdy shoes for mountain adventures.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there’s parking! That said, space is a little limited, so consider carpooling if you can; it’ll make things easier for everyone. If you have any questions or need help figuring out logistics, just text the bride or groom.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Couldn't get married without our nieces and nephews. DUH!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There’s no formal shuttle, but if you’re staying at one of the nearby hotels, text the bride or groom and we can help coordinate rides or carpooling. We’ll make sure everyone gets there (and back) safely!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation included a +1, then yes, bring them along! If not, text the bride or groom and we’ll let you know what’s possible. We just want to make sure there’s enough space for everyone.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Check out the “Travel” tab for our recommendations.

Question

Will there be a dance floor?

Answer

Yes, there will be a dance floor, and you must dance. Non-negotiable. If you know how to do the worm, pull that baby out of retirement.
