Yes. We have shuttles before and after the wedding for guests staying on Emerald Isle.* Shuttles will go to the hotels listed AND any rentals within 5 miles of them. After the wedding, guests can take a shuttle directly home or to the After Party and home afterward. *We are currently looking into a shuttle to/from downtown Swansboro.
Yes. The venue offers plenty of parking and security.
Both, but mostly outside. The ceremony, cocktail hour and dancing will be outside. Dinner will be held inside. The ceremony is in the gardens on grass, ladies!
The weather is mild and cool during October. Temperatures average in the mid to low 60s. Max daily temperatures average around 75° F, while mins average around 54° F. Precipitation is low but occasional showers or storms are possible.
No. We are keeping our wedding intimate with close friends and family. Unless specified on the invitation, there are no plus ones.
While we love children, the wedding is for adults only. We want the parents to enjoy themselves and have a stress-free evening on our special day.

Yes. The dress code is cocktail attire, also known as semi-formal. For men this means a suit, button down shirt (tie optional), dinner jacket, dress pants and shoes. For women, full-length gowns are welcome as well as elegant cocktail dresses, separates and jumpsuits.
No phones during the ceremony please. We'd appreciate our guests living in the moment, which is one of the reasons we've hired a professional photographer & videographer to capture the evening. Please don't post pictures of the bride and groom on social media until they do. Feel free to post pics of you and your loved ones though!
