Bridesmaid
Jessie is one of the first friends I made at F&M, and for that I'm so fortunate. We started out "just" as basketball teammates but quickly became thick as thieves on and off the court. Our college shenanigans as roommates, teammates, classmates, and drinking buddies set us up for a life-long friendship.
Groomsman
Tin-Tin was named by Chef Rich Morin on his first night at Lineage by matter of factly saying "You will be Tin-Tin," and to this day it hasn't changed. Brad can count how many times he has called him Sean, as he truly is known in the Lineage group as Tin-Tin. Frequent Sports Hub listener and fake caller, Brad and Tin-Tin practice their north shore accents by leaving each other messages about New England sports just like any townie would do.
Bridesmaid
Frenchie is another F&M basketball teammate who has made a lasting impression on my life. The nickname was a necessity because there were two other Amy's and one Jamie on the team, and you pull it off so well. The stories and jokes we've shared are endless and ridiculous. Thank you for being part of the wedding party.

Amy is a long time restaurant friend of Brad's. They met over 10 years ago at Gargoyle's on the Square where many of Amy friends worked with Brad. Eventually, Amy would recruit Brad to become her Assistant General Manager at Lineage in Brookline. Even though the two no longer work together, they still remain close friends. They continue with their inside jokes; oooo what are you wearing?

I truly couldn't have asked for a better sibling. "Little" brother certainly is an understatement when it comes to describing your sense of humor, family-first attitude, and impact on my life...and I suppose physical stature. You've always been there for me no matter what, and I'm so glad to have you standing with me as I welcome Brad into our family.
Groomsman
A man of many nicknames, the Good Doc/Frank/Franklin/Doc is a legend. Brad knew that Dr Frank was not his real name, but did not find out it was in fact Matt until years of friendship later (when Brad would start doing his payroll). Doctor is often on a bike, and loves bicycles; he has 7 of them. The two ran the San Fransisco Marathon together.
Bridesmaid
Hotrod and I each moved to Boston within two weeks of one another, and I have to say, the city has probably never been the same since. She's as loyal a NY sports fan as I am Philly fan, which works out fine for the most part in New England until the Eagles play the Giants. =) Lauren's enthusiasm and loyalty to her friends is contagious, and I'm so grateful to have met her.
Groomsman
Having grown up in the same neighborhood, Andrew has been a long time friend of all three Shannon brothers. Originally he was Carl's friend from elementary school, but because Adam, Carl, and Brad were inter-changeable when it came to friends, if Carl wasn't home when Andrew called, he would ask for Brad. And if Brad wasn't home, he'd ask for Adam. The two have had endless adventures together, from being roommates in Medford, to cross-country road trips, to annual travel destinations.
Bridesmaid
Kirsten transferred to F&M our sophomore year and quickly had a lasting impact on our basketball team. Her calm, cool, and collected demeanor on the court naturally translates to our friendship. I can always count on her for advice in any scenario. Thanks for "holding the rope" and having my back on this big day.

Adam is the biggest brother of Brad, by four years. Adam had claimed he would move to Vegas with Brad back in 2006, but he never moved. The two like to play craps and poker. Whiskey is their drink of choice, and once Adam had gotten a really nice bottle of Whistle Pig, only to find out it was a display bottle and full of apple cider vinegar. His long time girlfriend Maggie is considered an unofficial sister-in-law.

I met Steph at work when I moved to Boston in 2008. She instantly wanted to show me around the city and make me feel welcome, which makes sense since she's from the mid-west. Since then, our friendship has included countless hours working out together, traveling together, and rehashing (good and bad) dating stories together.
Groomsman
Carl is the older brother of Brad, and the middle brother of the three. Being closer in age, a lot of Carl's friends in high school were inter-changeable (see Andrew above). Carl and Brad would team up on things if Carl and Adam hadn't already done so (being the middle child). Carl lived in Buffalo for a bunch of years, but has returned to New England where he lives with wife (Colleen) and daughter (Chelsea). He is a chemical engineer, but he needs to engineer a way to make his farts less toxic.
