Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we felt that postponing our wedding is in the best interests of all our guests and vendors. We want our event to be a time of celebration, which includes dancing, hugging and sharing food. In the current climate, we feel holding our wedding as planned was irresponsible and would be posing unnecessary risk on our loved ones.
COVID-19 has flipped our world upside down. We understand this is a difficult time, and everyone's health and safety is our top priority. If you feel sick leading up to the day, please do not attend. If you feel uncomfortable with attending our wedding this spring, please do not feel pressured to do so. We will prioritize sanitation throughout the event, however we ask of our guests three things: 1. If you are able, please get the COVID-19 vaccine (both doses, at least 2 weeks before our wedding). Not only will this help prevent illness, it will also create a safer event for everyone! 2. If you are unable to get the vaccine, please obtain a COVID test before arriving. 3. While a negative COVID test does not "clear" you for an event, we encourage everyone to get tested prior to the day and continue to follow CDC guidelines. 4. Please wear a mask while celebrating with us when not eating and drinking. We will be providing masks.
