Travel

We chose Spain not only because we love it, but also because it’s easy and affordable to reach. Alicante Airport has frequent daily flights from the Newcastle and Valencia is another option for those travelling from other airports. Flights are usually released 10–12 months in advance, so we recommend setting up a Google Flights alert to track prices. Don’t panic if they look high right now — fares often drop once schedules are fully out. We've dropped in a link for flight trackers so you can enter your own travel dates and sign up for alerts. In Dénia, you’ll find a wide choice of hotels, villas, and Airbnbs — from beachfront apartments to charming townhouses. We haven’t booked our own place yet, but we can share once we do. We might be able to sort out a group hotel rate. If that’s something you’d like, just let us know and we’ll pass on the info.
