The wedding day itself will be adults-only, so everyone can fully relax and celebrate. That said, the rest of your trip is completely up to you — bring the little ones along for a family holiday, or enjoy it as a couple’s getaway. From chatting with guests who have children, some are planning to travel as a family and arrange babysitting for the wedding day so they can let their hair down, while others are looking forward to enjoying the peace for the whole break!

We have booked to stay in La Posada del Mar Hotel as FYI. Denia itself is not a big town, and neighbouring towns may require a taxi ride so bear this in mind if you're planning on coming to more celebrations etc. For your typical hotels, there aren't a lot of options but there are lots of apartments and villa's on air bnb. Depends what your vibe is for the week! Drop us a message if you're not sure :)
We want everyone to look and feel their best on our big day! The wedding party will be suited and booted, but our biggest priority is that you’re comfortable — especially in the Spanish sunshine. Think smart, stylish, and summer-ready. Light fabrics, breathable materials, and a splash of personality are all encouraged.
The nearest airports to Dénia are Alicante (about 1 hour away) and Valencia (around 1h15–1h30). Both have regular direct flights from the UK. From Newcastle, there are daily flights to Alicante with Ryanair, Jet2, and easyJet. Valencia is also well served, with direct flights from London (Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted), Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and some seasonal routes from Bristol, East Midlands, and Belfast. We recommend checking both options to see which works best for you on price and timings. Setting up a Google Flights alert is a great way to track deals as they’re released.
We had originally planned to come out Sat-Sat but instead we're flying out Friday - Saturday. We have a few other things planned, so take a look at our schedule to make sure you don't miss out!
We will be hiring a coach to take you to the venue, picking up at 3pm from Denia Marina, exact location TBC. When the party finishes, the coach will take us back to Denia and we will carry on the party in the old town. If you want to leave ahead of this, our wedding planners have taxi numbers who can help arrange this.
