What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to give yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the ceremony site. We'll also have pre-ceremony refreshments as I (Sid) require espresso martinis at my wedding. No ceremony naps allowed.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We highly recommend an AirBnb/Vrbo, or the Embassy Suites in downtown Greenville. Anywhere downtown is great, and is only about 35 minutes from the venue. We'll be staying at an AirBnb right near the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

There is a large parking area at the venue, but please do not drink and drive!! Carpooling is a great option, and there are indeed ride shares out here in the country. We do not plan to provide transportation, as that’s a trillion dollars

Will there be a DJ accepting song requests?

Answer

We will have a live band playing at our reception, so probably not.

What do I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal, and will be outdoors in October. Ladies, think jumpsuits, and long or midi length dresses. Gentlemen, think button-down with dress pants, sport coats, and suits. Ideally, outfits will be in an autumnal palette (rust/orange/maroon/etc). The most important thing is COMFORT. Bring a coat just in case! The October nights in the upstate can get a bit chilly.

All invited parties will be directly addressed on the invitation (that means no, unless their name is on the invitation)

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

All invited parties will be directly addresses on the invitation. Immediate family members will be bringing children as they will participate in the ceremony, but otherwise, think of it as parents' night out and give Grandma some time with the grandbabies!
