we're getting married!

Sidney and Jamie met at Clemson University in the fall of 2019, but it's a surprise they didn't meet sooner. Sidney was working in the downstairs office at the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts at Clemson University, while Jamie was getting his performing arts degree. Through a friend of a friend (thank you, Mollie and Andrew) Sidney was able to learn more about Jamie, and decide that he was the hottest man she'd ever seen. Conversations were shared in the music building about Nashville, and how they were both living in the area simultaneously, but had never met. As Sidney developed a deeper crush on Jamie, the world started to shut down due to COVID. Quarantine began, a couple months passed, and the two matched on Bumble. They met up at the Clemson Rowing Docks on campus in July, and sparks...didn't fly. Conversation flowed, laughs were shared, and the two decided to remain friends. The following week, Jamie hosted Sidney and taught her how to make omelets, and she met his young beagle puppy, Tito (who would later become a Mama's Boy). Months passed and the two continued to hang out and pick new recipes to try together, and watch episodes of The Mandalorian (nerds). Then, one fateful December evening of foreign recipes and Star Wars spin-offs, Sidney laid her head on Jamie's shoulder. The first move. Unfortunately, Jamie is the kindest gentleman in all the land, and assumed "friends cuddle like this" because it was a pandemic and people were "starved for contact." Sidney was not cuddling as friends. A kiss was shared, butterflies and sparks flew, and their love story picked back up. Shortly after sharing their first New Years' together, both Sidney and Jamie had to isolate with COVID. Sidney had roommates, Jamie didn't, so after approximately 3 weeks of dating, they quarantined together for 10 days. They shared "I love you's" on day 4. Now, after moving states twice, sharing multiple homes (and pets) together, the two are excited to share their love, friendship, and partnership with their closest family and friends!
