Jami - Jessica and I met through cosplay in the Sailor Scouts of Jax. We became fast friends bonding over all things nerdy. She is my hufflepuff sister and we have taken many a trip to Universal and Disney together. It was because of her that I met Morgan in the first place! She convinced me to go to THE pool party, (it was about to rain and I was tired since I was working night shift at the time), where Morgan and I eventually met. It was only natural that when Morgan asked me to marry him, that I asked the girl who made it all happen to be my maid of honor!
Angus Suenner
Best Man
Morgan - Angus.... I've known Angus since I was Four years old. He was my first friend. We've been through literally two decades of stuff together and even though he's moved thousands of miles away we still manage to talk fairly often and see each other every few years. I almost didn't get to go to his wedding, but as the date came closer I realized I wouldn't miss such a big event of his life. We are pretty certain everything is set but I am going to do everything I can to make sure he makes it to mine because I couldn't imagine such a life event without my best friend.
Alicia Sherlinski
Matron of Honor
Jami - Alicia and I met at work. While we share the same passion for medical laboratory science I think we truly bonded over our love for rock music and have been to many rock concerts and rock festivals since. Our football teams may not be any good right now, but we love to talk some sports too. She is an incredibly sweet person and recently found out she was a Hufflepuff just like myself. Knowing her, it totally suits her. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding so when it came time for my own, I knew just who to ask to be in my wedding party! :)
Adam Warner
Best Man
Morgan - Adam and I met through soccer almost 10 years ago. He's been a huge part of my life growing up as an adult and has always had my best interests in mind along with having my back in every situation. We've done a lot of things together like soccer, bringing me into his DJ business ventures, and it was originally his idea to get into Cosplay. So, if not for him, I might have never met Jami!
Brittany Taylor
Bridesmaid
Jami - Brittany and I met when one day she came up to me at work and told me she loved my Naruto jacket. (She was a student in the same program I went through at the time.) Just like with Jessica, we bonded over all the nerdy things. It was with her, and another of my bridesmaids, that we started Sailor Scouts of Jax and started cosplaying together. I met all the amazing people in my life here in Jacksonville because Brittany and her Slytherin ambition came up to me that day. Brittany and I even lived together at one point as well! She is a bright shining light of a person and as sweet as she can be. She is the Starfire to my Raven and when it came time to chose my bridesmaids she was a no brainer!
Andreas Womack
Groomsman
Morgan - Andreas, out of all of the wedding party, has easily known me the longest. Something about being my brother or something. We've always been into similar things as we have grown up. I may have become more outgoing, but I can always fall back on some anime or gaming, and when I do, I can always depend on him to know something I might like. Speaking of similar interests, apparently we don't like normal photos of JUST the two of us. I had to go all the way back to the 90's.
Leah Wicks
Bridesmaid
Jami - Leah and I met through cosplay as well. I seriously did meet most of the important people in my life because of it. Leah is an amazing friend and we bonded over our love of shonen anime and superheroes. We've also spent many a day at Universal together. The only Gryffindor in my bridal party, she is a fierce friend and one I cant see living life without her.
Alex Tuell
Groomsman
Morgan - Alex and I also met through soccer (shocker). He's been apart of a close knit group with Adam, myself, and a few other friends. Alex is a lot like myself in that we both enjoy gaming and work in I.T. He's definitely more introverted but it is nice to have another grounded individual in my wedding party! He's always been a realistic friend I can discuss things with and vent about I.T. problems. I was happy to be apart of his wedding party and happy he is able to join mine.
Kristen Brazell
Bridesmaid
Jami - Together with Brittany and I, Kristen started the Sailor Scouts of Jax a few years ago. I'm thankful for her Slytherin ambition to start such a group so I could meet so many new people here in Jax! She is a great friend, an even better mom, and someone I look up to for her tenacity in all things. She is an incredibly kind person too who also threw Morgan and I's engagement party.
Mike Reid
Groomsman
Morgan - Mike has known me and my family for a VERY long time. We weren't really close until much more recently though. He's always been an extremely hard worker but I got an opportunity to get him into the I.T. field and once he got in, he was able to put the work ethic to use and has made the most of it. With that he's been able to do a lot more and have a lot more time to hang out with people (like me!) He's been much more extroverted the last few years I would think and always trying new things and can depend on him to invite me out for fun things. Happy to have such a positive influence like Mike in my life.
