Wine Tasting (Urban Wine Trail and Santa Ynez Valley)
Santa Barbara is surrounded by the Santa Ynez Valley that has some great smaller vineyards. This is about a 45 min drive from downtown Santa Barbara. There are lots of tours that you can do-our first time we visited Santa Barbara in 2012 we used DeeTours (https://www.deetoursofsb.com/ -loved them!). Santa Barbara is also known for their Urban Wine Trail which is a series of tasting rooms from the Santa Ynez Valley sprinkled all around downtown SB. Urban Wine Trail/Wine Tours Hiking-Lots in the area-one of our faves is Inspiration Point (morning or sunset) Beach/Boardwalk (rent a bike!) Beaches: East Beach, Leadbetter Santa Barbara Public Market Shopping on State Street Surfing-Mondos Beach (Ventura) Solvang-Dutch town about 45 min from Santa Barbara Harbor Sailboat Cruise (we used Double Dolphin and did a sunset cruise in the past) There are ALOT of breweries and wineries in downtown Santa Barbara to walk around and check out! Santa Barbara Zoo
