Laiiiiid back...
Nosara has become a well known surfing and yoga destination. The people there care deeply about health and wellness so if you want to harness your inner yogi or surfer... we highly recommend taking a yoga class or attempting to catch a wave at one of the beaches! BUT No Pressure, there is a lot to do other than yoga & surfing. Check out out "Things To Do" Tab. The general vibe is CASUAL, so pack some comfy, light weight clothing, maybe a few sundresses for the ladies and you're good to go. Nosara is very safe but you want to practice safety. Walking alone at night (especially for women) is not highly recommended. And not traveling with valuables, most condos offer lock boxes or safes just in case. This is not to scare you, we have been multiple times and never had an issue.

Pre-Order Groceries!
https://mermaidscr.com We discovered this business last year and wish we took advantage of their services. Grocery shopping is challenging if you don't have a car (don't worry we can figure rides out if needed) and can be expensive if doing all the shopping at small local markets. Mermaids CR offers grocery shopping services upon arrival, as well as cleaning services ...if needed! It is helpful for some of those standard cooking purchases, otherwise there are great fruit stands and markets for everything else. Check them out on Facebook or their website for more info! mermaidscr.com
Both are amazing!
Playa Guinoes has great collection of shops, there are some cute restaurants and cafes. Busier scene and more of a nightlife. Playa Pelada is a little more relaxed and remote ...a slightly minor distance from Guiones, the walk there is beautiful.
A Nosara Taxi Ride
