We met at Rogers Middle school. We started as friends in the 7th grade and quickly became best friends. We’ve grown and laughed together from 12 years old all the way into adulthood. Tanisha will fight for those she loves and is very loyal, which are 2 things that I have become to love about her. Tanisha is a great friend and mother and it’s been awesome for me to continually watch her blossom. I am happy and excited to have Tanisha by my side as my Maid of Honor.

Quintina and I met as roommates at The Ridge Apartments in 2007 where we attended the University of North Texas. We bonded instantly and she has become one of my best friends. I over the years have become to admire her hard work and determination. Quintina is a very supportive, understanding and kind hearted woman. I am truly thankful to have met her. She and her husband have become people that both Derrick and I can call on when we are looking to have a good couples night or even talk to about life. I am looking forward to having Quintina by my side as my Matron of Honor.

Cresha is my older sister. Although we haven’t always been in one another’s life, I feel that I can call upon her anytime I need her. As soon as I told her that I was engaged, Cresha immediately asked what do I need for her to do. I appreciate her making changes to ensure that she’s here for me in this wonderful time and am looking forward to having her by my side.

We have been knowing each other for over 15 years. I am in awe of how great of a mother and friend that she is, she will work hard to ensure that the people that she loves is taken care of. Sharita is smart, kind and hardworking and a great poet. We have become very good friends over the years. I truly admire her strength as a woman and look forward to having her as one of my bridesmaids to stand by my side.

LaMesha is My baby sister. LaMesha is truly a pleasure to be around, she is funny, loving and a great mother. She is the definition of a compassionate and generous person, which are traits that I admire. She has most definitely become someone whom Derrick and I can call upon whenever we want a laugh or need an honest open to settle our debates haha. Derrick and I both are looking forward to having her by our side.

Cicily has become a good friend whom I have become to admire for her drive and desire to be the best at anything she touches. Cicily is successful, caring and an inspiration. She is such a wonderful woman and I am looking forward to having Cicily by my side.

I have been knowing Monick since about the 10th grade. She’s a very strong woman who has gone through a lot more than someone her age should go through and she’s still standing. I admire and love Monick’s strength. She is the kind of friend that you would want to hold on to for a life time. She has the soul of an angel and is truly a kind hearted woman. Monick has become a good friend of mines and I am excited to have her by our side.

I have been knowing Brooklyn since she was about 3 years old. When I initially met Brooklyn, it took Brooklyn about 20 minutes to warm up to me but later I become a constant in her life. Brooklyn fell in love with my sister first and me second haha, she had candy on hand. It has been a pleasure to watch her grow into a smart and beautiful young girl. I am looking forward to many more years of watching Brooklyn blossom. Derrick and I are thankful to have her stand with us as we become one family

I have known Brionna all of her life. She is such a joy to be around and will light up the life of anyone that she comes in contact with. I have been knowing Arionna all of her life. We developed a bond like no other and became inseparable when she was about 2 years old. Arionna was my first true love and even though she have ditched me and doesn’t want to spend time with me like she used to, I still enjoy spending time with my niece. I have known Jeremy for 12 years. We met ripping up the airways on Dance Club 21. After that we dominated the club scene for years. Our love for dance and wrestling solidified our friendship. Jeremy is a great friend and father. I love him like a brother and I am happy to have him as my Bestman.

I met D at a Buffalo Wild Wings where we watch the Warriors win their first ring. He didn’t give me the classic big bro talk. We just chopped it up. He put me on honey mustard and lemon pepper wings🔥🔥🔥🔥 and we’ve been cool since then. This is a great guy. He loves his family and he’s treated me like family(Even when he cheats me in 2k lol) I’m thankful to have this man as a brothers-in-law and as one of my groomsmen!
