Derrick and Jamesia’s story began March 30, 2014 when they decided that they really enjoyed the company of one another and no longer wanted to be “just dating”. Over the next couple of years Derrick and Jamesia created many memories, became inseparable and somewhere a long the way fell deeply in love. In Summer 2016, the couple decided to make the leap and move in together. In Fall 2017, 2 days before Jamesia’s birthday Derrick put a ring on it; he pretended to be stuffed and asked Jamesia to go for a walk. They walked for about 30 minutes, Derrick played Jamesia a song by Mali Music feat. Jazmin Sullivan called Loved by You, dropped to one knee and asked Jamesia to Marry him. Of course, she said Yes! Now, they are looking forward to the forever together, the twists and turns, and ups & downs as husband and wife.
