Semi-formal: cocktail dresses, longer dresses with a relaxed feel, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates. Note about colors: In Ticia’s culture, black is traditionally worn for mourning (wakes/funerals), and white is reserved for the bride. We kindly ask that women avoid wearing black or white.
Chinos or slacks, a button-down, and a jacket will do. Tie? Optional. Just no jeans, sneakers, or anything you’d wear to watch football on the couch. Basically, look sharp. Feel comfortable. Pretend you tried. Note about colors: In Ticia’s culture, black is traditionally worn for mourning (wakes/funerals), so we kindly ask that guys avoid black shirts.
Outside of Ticia’s host kids, we kindly ask that you leave your little ones at home.
When you RSVP, there’s an option to note any dietary restrictions. Please let us know if you’re vegetarian or vegan—we want to make sure everyone feels included and cared for on the big day.
Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. The cocktail hour will take place outdoors and includes a shaded area.
We’re excited to celebrate our Brazilian wedding in May 2026! If you’re considering joining us, we’ll share more details—including RSVP info—as soon as possible so you can plan ahead.
