Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! All of the guests, including the wedding party, must RSVP by June 30th. If you do not RSVP, there will not be a seat or meal reserved for you!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

They love all of their family members! Due to limited capacity, Sami & James ask that you please use their wedding as a parents night out!

How Do I RSVP?

Answer

Once you receive your invitation, there is a QR Code to scan. When you scan the QR code it will take you to our website. On the home page, there is an "RSVP" button under the countdown to their Wedding Day. There is also a tab called "RSVP". You can use either link and it will take you to the page to RSVP. If you are able to bring a plus one, it will say on your invitation! If you need to enter their name, you will be able to do so after "accepting" for them.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

They are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your invitation. If you are able to bring a plus one, it will show on your invitation.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Sami & James ask that everyone dress to impress. Semi-Formal attire. Please refrain from wearing white!

Where is the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at the same location! The ceremony is a walk down the pine trees and next to the pond. There is transportation to and from the pond for any of our guests who need it.

Where is the Reception?

Answer

When you pull into Eyry, there is a barn to the right. You will drive passed that, through the fence, you will pass the hall on your left, and you will then be directed to parking!

Is there parking? Is it free?

Answer

Yes and Yes! You will be directed by onsite staff for parking. It is located next to the reception hall! If you need to leave your vehicle overnight, please do! Just know, you must pick up your vehicle by 10am on Sunday May 10th.

Do you have any hotel blocks for room reservations?

Answer

We are so thrilled you are able to join us in celebrating the new Mr & Mrs Hamblin! There are rooms to book at the Courtyard by Marriot in Jackson, MI for a discount. The link to book this hotel is under the "Travel" tab on our website. Or you can call and give them code: The Hamblin Wedding. Bookings close on July 15th, 2025! There are 2 hotels in Chelsea that you can book at a non discounted rate; The Comfort Inn & The Baymount by Wyndham. The Comfort Inn is Pet Friendly for anyone needing to ring their furry friends along for the adventure.

What type of bar do you have?

Answer

There will be an open bar! Tips are encouraged for our bartenders. There will be beer, liquor, and Twisted Tea. If you drink something specific, please feel free to bring it with you!

Where are you Registered?

Answer

They have lived together for quite awhile, with all their pots and pans, as they don't need very many homely gifts, they've got another plan! They know it's not traditional, and not the way it's done, but they would love a bit of sun! If you'd like to give a gift, and send them on their way, a donation to their Honeymoon fund would really make their day! They are also looking to do a few renovations to their house as well! Sami & James have created a registry on Amazon with gifts of items in their household they are looking to upgrade for anyone who is looking to purchase a gift! All 3 links are under the "Registry" tab. The greatest gift you could give them is your presence!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

They love their photographer and trust her to do her best! They ask that you please put all phones and cameras away and enjoy seeing the ceremony through your own eyes and not a phone screen! We promise to share all the best pictures. During the reception, take as many photos as possible to share with the Newlyweds!

What is served for dinner?

Answer

The meal will be a taco bar! The options are truly endless. Both beef & chicken options as well as catered rice, and obviously all the fixins you could think of to make tacos or nachos! There will be queso, salsa, and guacamole with chips. For our vegetarian friends, we will have beans!
