Travel Note
In flying back and forth to Madison, we have found that any flights stopping through Chicago are prone to delays and/or cancellations. This is not always the case, but in the event it is needed, Van Galder bus company offers many trips back and forth to O'Hare airport and Milwaukee Airport as well as downtown Chicago. This is often also a cheaper option than flying that last stretch from Chicago or Milwaukee to Madison! The busses offer electrical outlets and have proven to be an excellent alternative to car rentals, dropping off next to the University of Wisconsin-Madison a few minutes' walk away from the Concourse Hotel and Wisconsin Capital.
