This is a truly excellent Farmers' Market hosted every Saturday morning around the state capital adjacent to the Concourse Hotel, rain or shine. It is very busy so dress warm, take a look around, buy some local delicacies (the spicy cheese bread is a recommendation though please, please learn from us and don't eat all of it in one sitting).
An excellent local piece of architecture adjacent to the capital building overlooking Lake Monona. It was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright before his death but only constructed relatively recently. It has a gorgeous panorama of the lake and also offers a Frank Lloyd Wright gift shop on its entry floor, selling geometric stained glass among other Wright-themed souvenirs.
A lovely piece of historic local grandeur - come see the rooms where it happens locally!
A gorgeous little place to sit, enjoy a meal or drink on the UW-Madison campus, and likely enjoy some live music while looking out over Lake Mendota. Known for its unique chairs, often seen as a symbol of Madison and UW-Madison.
An excellent tie-in to local cuisine, the Mustard Museum has a full gallery with tastings and themed gifts - come get your Poupon U sweatshirts and anti-ketchup propaganda here!
