Even though we both grew up in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, our paths didn’t cross until we were living in Toronto. It all started with a simple tap on a certain dating app, leading to conversations that felt effortless and a first date at Her Father’s Cider Bar. From that night on, our lives became intertwined, through countless adventures, several cocktails, and even a few matching tattoos as souvenirs from our travels. We built a home together in our condo, filling it with love, laughter, and, of course, our cat, Nacho. Then, on a breathtaking sunset evening in Milos, Greece, during a private beachside dinner, Mike got down on one knee and asked James to spend forever together. The answer, of course, was yes.
