Cassy and Megan have been best friends since First grade at Unity Elementary School. Growing up they were inseparable! As time went on Megan went to St. Mary’s but their friendship didn’t waver. Over the years, they have been there for every important event in each other lives. They have been each other’s best adventure partners, traveling near and far. Megan couldn’t imagine anyone else standing beside her for her special day!
Jason Erwin

Jason and James often butted heads, as brothers do, growing up. It wasn't until they were both out of school and living in the real world that they became as close as they are now. James always took pleasure in helping raise, or "toughening up" Jason. Even though there are eight years in between them, they found similar interests in snowboarding, and Jason even worked odd carpentry jobs with James. It was an easy decision on who James wanted as his best man, and Jason was it.

Katie is Megan’s way older sister by two years! While these two are very different in many ways they always manage to come together and have a ton of fun! Katie gave Megan her first “real” nephew although Megan claims many others as her nieces and nephews. And in typical Megan fashion she gets all the best toys for Hammy. So, like a little sister Megan is still annoying Katie. However, they have those special moments like when Katie cried when Megan tried on one of the wedding dresses! And Katie usually makes Megan cry from laughter when she dances! If you are lucky Katie will hopefully break out some of her sweet dance moves during the wedding!

They say that the friends you make in college are the ones that stay with you for life. Chris and James are the epitome of just that. In fact, they became more than friends. Family practically. It was instant friendship when Jimmy James and Chris met freshman year at New England College. Jimmy was wandering the halls of Colby 5 dorms, being the social butterfly that he is, when he came across Chris who he met in one of his criminal justice classes. He just so happened to be watching the Red Sox on their way to a postseason victory and eventually onto a 2007 World Series Championship. Jimmy watched the game with the Rochester Boys and the rest is history. Jimmy was standing beside Chris when he married his lovely wife Sam. He was there when they announced the gender of their first child. They worked together on rebuilding a longtime family camp. Chris even asked now the great "Uncle Jimmy" to be the godfather of his second child. Jimmy knew instantly that he couldn't get married without his best friend Chris by his side.

Fifteen years ago our family made the best decision ever when we accepted Kate into our family. Although Kevin is blood McDevitt, Kate has easily made her way to the top of the list when it comes to favorite cousins (sorry Kev). Kate and Kevin had an easy choice when it came to finding a godmother for their first son, and MEGA was the first one to come to mind, making Riley one of the luckiest kids on the face of the earth! We all know how much Auntie Mega loves her kiddos!

Cousins are our first friends growing up. James and Chris, or CP as most know him as, were fortunate enough to be practically neighbors. They did absolutely everything together. They walked to and from the school bus together, played football, baseball, basketball, street hockey from the crack of dawn til there wasn't enough light on their dead-end street. They grew up together, through middle and high school, to adults. Going through all of life's crazy ups and downs, they always knew that they could count on each other and they would have each other's backs. When the opportunity to live together at 5 Bellevue Ave came about, they jumped on it, and boom CASA DELLO CUGINO was born. There are countess nights they can't remember and thousands of memories that they will never forget. It was an honor for James to ask CP to stand by his side on one of the most important days of his life.

You see when it comes to Megan's fashion sense, you know that all inquiries were run through Megan's cousin (or cousin's wife, but who's asking?) Ashley. She's always been there to give advice or one of her classic ASHLEY-ISMs on the matter at hand. Even if you can't quite make out what she said, you know what she means, or do you?

Megan and Matt are as close as they come when it comes to cousins, each others first friends. Growing up 5 hours away from each other, they managed to stay in touch and communicate, and when the families got together it was like no time had passed at all. Both are extremely passionate about their families and life goals. It's scary how similar their interests are on one hand, and opposite on the other. They could fight like brother and sister, mostly because Matt being a firefighter and Megan being a police officer it was always BLUE V.S. RED. When Megan introduced James to Matt they immediately hit it off. When the wedding party conversation came up Megan and James both blurted out "MATT" as soon as they started making a list.
Kayla Erwin

James and Kayla are you're typical 1-2 punch when it came to kids. Both into sports and being the social butterflies they are, they kept their parents running around the island, picking up and dropping them off wherever their adventures took them. It really kept their parents on their toes when they were both in Gloucester High School at the same time. Soon after college graduation, Kayla gave James the best gift she could give (and headache!) his nephew DAMON! Shortly followed by 3 more nieces and nephews (Tenley, RoryJaye, and Jett), James takes the most pride in being UNCLE JAMIE or Padrino(godfather) to niece RoryJaye!

Megan and Mickey are your typical older sister and younger brother duo. At each others throats mostly but always had that sibling bond. James and Megan both knew they wanted they families part of their big day and no body could have been more excited then Mickey was to accept and that made their hearts full!

Mi Famiglia, Mi Fratello, Mi CUGINO! Family isn't always blood, and for as far back as anyone can remember James has called Mike (Jetti) FAMILY. Wherever cousin CP was Jetti was. He was there at the table helping set up for Nonnas Sunday Zugu. He would help Nonno carry in groceries. James and Mike became very close after Mike moved into Casa Dello Cugino. Hundreds of late night Cugi Kitchen Convos with some of the best people to have ever walk through our lives. Family isn't always blood. Some family you choose. And we choose Mike!

Police vs Fire. Fire vs Police. Do you see the theme here? As the story goes, Megan was on her first shift as Patrol Sergeant on Claremont PD, when all hell decided to break loose. Megan being the leading officer on a tragic scene calling all the shots and attempting to organize chaos, Bill and the Claremont Fire Dept. were there assisting with the Sergeant's orders. It's there that their friendship started and it wasn't long before they realized they were more like brother and sister! Fighting and arguing (mostly about police vs fire obviously) and being there for each other through some great and not-so-great times. It was a no brainer when it came time to pick a BRIDESMAN that Bill was the guy for the job!
