Lake Bomoseen Lodge

The Lodge provides a variety of room types across the wedding venue but they will book up quickly. This is the only location that we have a room block at, so we do encourage our guests to please call the Lodge and mention "Madeline & James Wedding" in order to book!

Alternative Lodging

Our main lodging option will be the wedding venue, Lake Bomoseen Lodge & Taproom. There are also a large amount of AirBnB and Home Away rentals in the area if you would like, or see below for some of our recommendations on nearby hotels! Please note that Uber/Lyft is not available in Castleton and there is limited car service availability. We strongly recommend our guests drive or rent a car. If you plan to rely on car services to get around, you’ll need to book this several weeks in advance. We have included local car service information below. Most of our guests will be staying on site at Lake Bomoseen Lodge or dispersed in lakeside rentals, so we're not planning to do shuttle buses.

For those coming into Rutland by train or plane, Vermont Rental Cars is a local car rental business that is open 24 hours / 7 days a week. They can drop a car off for you at Rutland Regional Airport (20 minute drive to our venue), at the Rutland Amtrak Station (20 minute drive to our venue), or at the Castleton Amtrak Station (6 minute drive to our venue). They can also drop a car off at Burlington International Airport, however all your standard car rental companies are also available there (Hertz, Dollar, Budget, etc).
