Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the Lake Bomoseen Lodge. However, it is limited so we recommend traveling together if possible.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Anyone staying at the lodge will not need transportation. However, we have another room block at the Hampton Inn in Rutland that will have transportation provided via a nonhandicap accessible bus. Details of the bus to follow.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to have all our loved ones dress up with us in semi-formal/formal attire. We are requesting that guests do not wear jeans, sneakers, flip fops or white dresses.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

We recognize Vermont is a destination for the majority of our guests, and so if you are unable to attend, please know we completely understand. If you decide you are unable to make it to our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to venue restrictions, we are unable to accommodate anyone not noted on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! While filling out your RSVP, we ask that you kindly note any dietary restrictions so we can be sure to best accommodate.

Will there be cell service at the venue?

Answer

Cell service is limited at the venue. If you plan to drive yourself to the venue, have the directions to your lodging either printed out or downloaded.

Are Rideshares Available?

Answer

Ubers and Lyfts are virtually non-existent in the area, so please coordinate otherwise. We're providing a shuttle from the Hampton Inn, but if you are staying elsewhere, there is parking on site or you can try to reserve a local cab ahead of time with Tri State Transportation.
