Like many modern day couples, James and Lizzi connected online before meeting in person. The couple matched on Hinge, but their first date wouldn't be for another 6 months. We can thank James' friends at Boeing for creating him an Instagram and adding Lizzi as a friend. When the request came through, Lizzi was with two friends who happened to know James! They helped her slide into his DMs and ask to be a groupie of his band. Luckily, James accepted the offer. Their first date started strong, but took an interesting turn when James thought it would be a good idea to take Lizzi through dimly lit back alleyways to get to his favorite dive bar. Surprisingly, they made it to the bar without Lizzi having to use her mace and the rest is history. James and Lizzi started their journey together as COVID hit the US, but their relationship only got stronger during the uncertain times. With video call dates, at home picnics, and masked museum hopping, they made the most of 2020 and have continued to thrive together. James and Lizzi are beyond excited to begin their lives as a married couple. They both love bringing different friend and family groups together, and cannot wait to celebrate with their loved ones!
