Question

Should I bring my Covid Vaccination card with me and are masks required still?

Answer

Yes! In New York City, proof of vaccination is still required for indoor dining, events at arenas, gyms, theaters, museums and any other indoor entertainment. Additionally, masks are still required on public transportation, in public buildings, in Uber/Lyft/yellow taxis, and may still be required at private businesses. More information can be found at this website: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/covid/covid-19-vaccines-keytonyc.page

Question

How is the Brooklyn Winery handling Covid precautions and proof of vaccinations?

Answer

All guests and vendors attending events at Brooklyn Winery are required to provide proof of vaccination status before entering our indoor space. All guests age 12 and older must provide proof of two vaccine doses, except for those who have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Proof of vaccination will be gathered by the venue and your ID will be requested upon entry to the Brooklyn Winery to confirm your status. All employees of Brooklyn Winery are required to be fully vaccinated, meaning at least two weeks have passed since their final coronavirus vaccine dose. All Brooklyn Winery employees will continue to wear face coverings while indoors and practice social distancing, among other safety measures. **Please keep an eye on this space as we learn more detailed information from the venue regarding the process to provide proof of vaccination!

Question

What is an unplugged wedding?

Answer

We'd like you to be in the moment with us and request that you not use your cameras (including cell phones, iPads and anything else you might want to take a picture with) during the ceremony or other big moments. We've hired a team of professionals to capture everything and promise to share all of their hard work with you! We're asking that you respect our photographers and cinematographer and not step in their way if you see them lining up a shot. That being said, we still want to you to take pictures and grab us if you see us so we can get more candids with you!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know your allergies and dietary restrictions on your RSVP card and we will work with our venue to accommodate all requests!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children just as much as we love you but we're asking that you leave them home so we can celebrate with you!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because of the size of the venue, only those who are named on your invitation envelope are invited.

Question

Why isn't there a meal selection on the RSVP card?

Answer

The meal will be served family style and you will be able to choose and sample all sides, salads, and entrées at dinner!

Question

Is transportation provided to the ceremony and back to the hotel after the reception?

Answer

Yes, if you are staying at The Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, there will be two shuttle buses. Please find more information on the "Travel" page and in your gift bag at the hotel!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire but make sure to wear your dancing shoes!
