Where do I stay that's near the wedding venue?

Answer

All of the convenient hotels are listed in the "Lodging" section of this website, along with links to the hotels for easy booking!

Wait-is this wedding on a Thursday??

Answer

Yes! Your eyes do not deceive you! James, Kristy, and most of their close friends work in the medical field, where weekends don't mean too much! Alternatively, if you do work during the week, this is your excuse to have a 4 day weekend! We hope this does work out for most, but if it doesn't work with your schedule, we will be streaming the ceremony as well (:

Is this a buffet? What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

Yes it is! We want everyone to choose what they want for whatever they are craving that day-not months in advance! However, if you have a food allergy, please let us know so we can make special accommodations for you (:

Is there an open bar?

Answer

There is a Beer/Wine open bar! If you have any fun quirky suggestions for drinks, we will be supplying the bar so if you have something specific that you want us to try or something that is your favorite, let us know!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal/Cocktail! This means for everyone: Suits are ok! Dress shirts and slacks also ok! Cocktail dresses are ok! Long maxi dresses are ok! A helpful tip, if it looks like you would wear it to prom, maybe dress down something. If it looks like you're going to the beach, maybe add a nicer looking shoe. And if all else fails, honestly, who cares! We are just happy to see you (:

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are currently not registered anywhere for the wedding (if this changes, we will update this page), but at this time we are actually just asking for funds for our honeymoon and upgrades for our new home! Gifts are not expected, but very appreciated <3

I can't make it to the big day, is it going to be streamed?

Answer

Yes! We are still ironing out the wrinkles on this one, but we fully expect to have our ceremony streamed on either Youtube or Facebook for those who are unable to make it!

Question

Is COVID19 impacting this wedding at all?

Answer

At the current vaccination rate that is going right now, we feel comfortable and confident having a wedding in September of this year. If this changes, an update will be sent to all who have RSVP'd. We aren't sure what September is going to look like, but if the event is maskless, we will still have masks available to those who would like one. If you are feeling ill prior to the wedding, please contact the bride and groom.
